Winter Haven Man Claims $2 Million Lottery Jackpot from Ticket Sold on N. Combee Road

WINTER HAVEN, FL — The Florida Lottery announced that a Winter Haven resident has claimed a $2 million prize from a drawing held earlier this year.

Benjamin Hall secured the jackpot from the January 16 Jackpot Triple Play drawing. He opted to take the winnings as a one-time lump-sum payment of $1,212,677.60, according to lottery officials.

The ticket that produced the winning numbers was sold at Vasihali, located at 4646 North Combee Road in Lakeland.

Lottery officials said the $1 Jackpot Triple Play game gives players three opportunities to win the jackpot, with each ticket containing three sets of numbers to match against the numbers drawn.
