Kissimmee Man Charged After RV Pursuit, Hit-and-Run Crashes and DUI

KISSIMMEE, FL — A 45-year-old Kissimmee man was arrested Friday night after deputies say he led law enforcement on a pursuit in a recreational vehicle, struck multiple vehicles, and attempted to flee on foot.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, the incident began at approximately 9:14 p.m. on June 12 when an Osceola County Sheriff’s Office deputy observed a white Winnie RV failing to maintain its lane on East Osceola Parkway near Michigan Avenue. Deputies reported the vehicle was being driven in a dangerous and reckless manner, raising concerns that the driver may have been injured, ill, or impaired.

A traffic stop was initiated, but the driver refused to stop. Deputies deployed a tire deflation device, which punctured the RV’s front driver-side tire. Despite the damage, the driver continued fleeing before the RV ultimately crashed into a tree in the front yard of a residence on Berkshire Circle in Kissimmee.

Authorities identified the driver as Louis Anthony Robles, 45, of Kissimmee. Deputies said Robles fled on foot after the crash but was quickly apprehended.

Investigators also determined Robles struck two vehicles during the pursuit, causing damage and injuring some occupants before leaving both crash scenes. Deputies located various drugs inside his possession.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, Robles has been a convicted habitual traffic offender since 2021 and 2022 and has had his driver’s license revoked since 2021.

Robles was booked into the Osceola County Jail on multiple charges, including DUI, fleeing to elude, reckless driving, leaving the scene of crashes involving injuries, driving while license revoked as a habitual traffic offender, drug possession, and resisting an officer without violence.
