LAKELAND, FL — Motorists should expect delays on U.S. 98 in north Lakeland next week as FDOT continues its widening project between W. Socrum Loop Road and CR 54.
Periodic lane closures and flagging operations are scheduled from Monday, June 15, through Friday, June 19, between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. each day.
Overnight flagging operations and traffic shifts will take place from 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 16, to 6 a.m. Wednesday, June 17, on U.S. 98 from W. Socrum Loop Road to north of Rock Ridge Road.
FDOT also plans to place the new Big Cypress Boulevard roundabout into operation during the overnight work period. Drivers should use caution and expect delays in the area.
