Starting Tuesday, June 3, Osmose Utilities Services will inspect approximately 3,000 utility poles across Bartow over the next three months, according to Laurie Hayes, Director of Communications for the City of Bartow.

This report was shared in The Week in Review newsletter. The inspections aim to ensure a reliable power supply and enhance safety for utility workers. Crews may use hammers, drills, or dig around the bases of the poles. To access some poles, crews may need to walk through private property.

Residents are encouraged to contact the city with any concerns to ensure a smooth process. For inquiries, call 863-534-0100.— The Week in Review, Laurie Hayes, City of Bartow
