WINTER HAVEN, FL — A new church is coming to Thornhill and Spirit Lake Road, with plans calling for a 16,000-square-foot facility. The new facility will be home to Graceway Community Church and is expected to open in fall 2027.
According to a project article published by A.O. Wagner Construction, the new church will feature a sanctuary with seating for 220 people, plus room for an additional 48 on the raised platform. The building will also include a sound booth, Common Fellowship Area, nursery, toddlers’ room, kids’ room, youth room, three classrooms, a warming kitchen, storage area, bathrooms and a drive-thru canopy at the front of the building.
The project includes a complete site package and construction of a pre-engineered metal building manufactured by Whirlwind Steel Buildings, which has been producing custom metal buildings and components since 1955.
The Common Fellowship Area will serve as the heart of the new facility, with the sanctuary and other rooms positioned around the central gathering space.
