A 46-year-old Davenport woman was killed and a 20-year-old Indialantic man was injured in a crash early Tuesday morning in Osceola County, according to a crash report.
The crash occurred at approximately 12:25 a.m. on April 28, 2026, at the intersection of Old Lake Wilson Road and Spine Road.
According to FHP, a 2017 Honda Accord driven by the 20-year-old man was traveling northbound on Old Lake Wilson Road approaching Spine Road. A 2014 Nissan Sentra, driven by the 46-year-old woman, was traveling southbound on Old Lake Wilson Road approaching the same intersection.
Investigators say the driver of the Honda Accord lost control of the vehicle and traveled off the roadway to the left, entering the southbound lanes. As a result, the front of the Honda collided with the front of the Nissan.
The driver of the Honda was transported to Osceola Regional Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the Nissan was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Both drivers were reported to be wearing seatbelts. The investigation remains active. The crash remains under investigation. Nothing further at this time.
