KISSIMMEE, FL — Disturbing details have been released after a money dispute allegedly led to a man and woman being kidnapped, tied up and beaten inside a Kissimmee motel room, according to the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded Thursday, September 17, to the Siesta Motor Inn, located at 4657 W. Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway, after receiving a report that a couple had been kidnapped and beaten inside the motel the previous night.
Investigators said the incident occurred on September 16, when the man and woman were allegedly tied up inside their motel room by another couple during a dispute over money.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, the suspects beat both victims with a metal bar while they were restrained. The suspects then allegedly took the victims’ phones, money and jewelry.
Detectives later located both suspects at the Siesta Motor Inn and took them into custody. Glorimar Ramos-Pagon, 38, and Salvi Sola-Torres, 37, were arrested and booked into the Osceola County Jail on charges of battery and false imprisonment/kidnapping.
Sola-Torres was additionally charged with violation of probation for possession of fentanyl.
The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office did not provide additional details regarding the victims’ injuries or the amount of money involved in the dispute. Nothing further at this time.
