WINTER HAVEN, FL — The full closure of East Derby Avenue between Jersey Road and Lake Jessie Drive has been extended and will remain in effect through January 31, 2026. The roadway is scheduled to reopen at 3 p.m. on that date.
Traffic on Jersey Road and Lake Jessie Drive is being detoured to Sherry Avenue during the closure.
The ongoing work is part of a project by Cornerstone Collard Auburndale, LLC, involving stormwater line installation and roadway resurfacing.
Motorists and residents are advised to plan alternate routes to avoid delays.
