Fatal Collision at US-27 and Blue Heron Boulevard Intersection

Haines City, FL – Sunday, October 12, 2025 – A fatal two-vehicle crash occurred on US-27 at the intersection of Blue Heron Boulevard.

According to authorities, at approximately 4:00pm, a Kia sedan driven by a 20-year-old man from Davenport was traveling southbound on US-27 when it turned left into the path of a northbound Tesla Model 3 driven by a 26-year-old man from Haines City.

The Tesla struck the Kia in the intersection. The driver of the Kia sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Tesla suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital. Authorities are continuing to investigate the crash. Nothing further at this time.
