WINTER HAVEN, FL – The Winter Haven Fire Department responded to a vehicle fire inside an automotive repair shop Monday evening, quickly containing the blaze before it could spread to neighboring businesses.
Firefighters were dispatched at approximately 7:40 p.m. on July 6, 2026, to a vehicle repair business located at 4630 Old Lucerne Park Road in Winter Haven. Upon arrival, crews discovered a vehicle on fire inside a repair bay with the bay door closed. Preliminary information indicates the fire originated from the single vehicle.
Firefighters extinguished the fire within approximately five minutes, preventing it from spreading beyond the affected repair bay. No other businesses in the strip plaza were impacted.
No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire remains under investigation. Nothing further at this time.
