Kissimmee Motorcyclist Killed in Orlando Hit-and-Run Crash

ORLANDO, FL — Tragic news coming out of Orange County, where a 30-year-old Kissimmee man was killed in a hit-and-run crash in Orlando early Saturday morning.

The crash occurred around 2:08 a.m. at Shader Road and Aquablue Way in Orlando. Florida Highway Patrol said the man was riding a 2019 Suzuki motorcycle eastbound behind a 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe.

Troopers said the Tahoe was slowing down when the motorcycle failed to slow and struck the rear of the SUV. The impact caused the rider to be thrown from the motorcycle.

The Tahoe fled the scene following the crash, according to FHP. The motorcyclist, who was wearing a helmet, was transported to Orlando Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced deceased.

A witness provided investigators with the Tahoe’s tag number. Traffic homicide investigators later located the SUV parked and unoccupied in a business parking lot. Investigators took possession of the vehicle as evidence for processing. The crash remains under investigation. Nothing further at this time.
