WINTER HAVEN, FL — Shocking images are coming out of Winter Haven this morning after a vehicle crashed into an abandoned building at approximately 2:20 a.m., sending three occupants to the hospital as trauma alerts, according to Winter Haven Police.
Winter Haven Police and Fire responded to Highway 17 at 5th Street SW, where a gray Mazda left the roadway and launched into the side of an abandoned building that was once used as a car wash.
Three occupants were transported to the hospital as trauma alerts. It is currently unclear how many people were inside the vehicle at the time of the crash. The crash remains under investigation by Winter Haven Police. Nothing further.
