Semi Carrying Milk Overturns on I-75 Sunday Morning

SAN ANTONIO, FL — Shocking images out of San Antonio, a town just north of Wesley Chapel, show a tractor-trailer carrying milk overturned along Interstate 75 Sunday morning. The 59-year-old Temple Terrace driver was airlifted to an area hospital with serious injuries, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The crash occurred at approximately 6:10 a.m. on September 6 near mile marker 284. According to FHP, The tractor-trailer was traveling northbound on I-75 when the driver lost control. The truck entered the outside shoulder and collided with an unoccupied pickup truck. Following the collision, the tractor-trailer overturned and came to rest partially in the wood line.

The driver was airlifted from the scene to an area hospital with serious injuries. No additional injuries were reported in the preliminary information released by FHP. Nothing further.
