
Polk County, FL — Two Polk County residents each won $1 million in the Florida Lottery.
A 45 year old woman from Auburndale claimed a prize from the $1 Million Gold Rush Multiplier Scratch Off game, taking a lump sum payment of $638,100. The ticket was bought at a RaceTrac on U.S. Highway 92, which earned a $2,000 bonus.
A 58 year old woman from Lakeland won $1 million in the $1 Million A Year for Life Scratch Off game, receiving a lump sum of $640,000. The ticket was purchased at a Publix on South Florida Avenue, also earning the retailer a $2,000 bonus.
To protect the privacy of these individuals, we have decided not to release the identity of the winners.
