NWS Tampa Issues Flood Watch Central Florida Through Tuesday Evening

Tampa, FL – Tuesday, July 15, 2025 — The National Weather Service in Tampa Bay Ruskin has issued a Flood Watch, effective through 11:00 PM. Heavy rainfall from Invest 93 may cause flooding. Creeks and streams could rise out of their banks, and flooding is possible in areas with poor drainage and urban settings.

Residents should monitor forecasts and be prepared for possible Flood Warnings. Those in flood-prone areas should be ready to take action if flooding occurs.
