LAKELAND, FL — Wow! A major milestone for Lakeland’s newest hospital as Orlando Health Watson Clinic Lakeland Highlands Hospital celebrates the birth of its 100th baby, just over three months after opening its doors to patients on July 8.
According to Orlando Health, the milestone was reached with the recent birth of Hudson Kiuber, son of Abigail and Chance Kiuber. Hudson weighed 7 pounds, 13 ounces at birth.
“Everyone was so kind from the moment that we walked in,” said Abigail Kiuber. “As a first-time mom going through birth, all of my nurses I had were so patient and thorough.”
The hospital also announced that expectant mothers can now register for guided tours of its Center for Women and Babies, part of the Orlando Health Women’s Institute.
“Our team members are dedicated to providing the highest level of patient care in a warm, nurturing environment,” said Karen Marks, director of women’s services at Orlando Health Watson Clinic Lakeland Highlands Hospital.
Marks added that the hospital is proud to bring Orlando Health’s expertise in caring for women and babies to the Lakeland community.
The hospital officially opened to patients on July 8, 2026, expanding access to healthcare services for residents of Lakeland and surrounding communities.
