BARTOW, FL — A roadway widening project will close Old Bartow Lake Wales Road at State Road 60 beginning Tuesday, Sept. 8.
Polk County Roads and Drainage is widening Old Bartow Lake Wales Road near the intersection to improve traffic flow onto State Road 60. The project also includes intersection improvements.
The closure begins at 8 a.m. Tuesday and is expected to remain in place through 6 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 30.
Traffic will be detoured using Logistics Parkway and Old Bartow Lake Wales Road. Drivers should plan for alternate routes while construction is underway.
