LAKE WALES, FL — A portion of Masterpiece Road in Lake Wales is scheduled to close beginning Monday morning for underground pipe installation work, according to officials.
The closure is set to begin at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, May 18. Masterpiece Road will be closed to through traffic between Saint Helena Road and Timberlane Road while crews complete the underground pipe installation project.
Officials expect the roadway to reopen by 7 p.m. on Friday, May 22.
Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes during the closure. Traffic will be detoured along Timberlane Road and Tindel Camp Road. The work is part of a project by the Polk Regional Water Cooperative.
