DAVENPORT, FL – (March 30, 2026) — The closure of Minute Maid Ramp Road Two in Davenport has been extended through Friday, May 8, according to officials.
The roadway remains closed from U.S. Highway 27 to Lady Diana Drive as crews continue roadway widening and reconstruction work. The road is expected to reopen at 4 p.m. on May 8.
The project is being completed by Tucker Paving, Inc.
Detours are in place for motorists traveling in the area. Traffic traveling on U.S. Highway 27 east of the closure will be directed north on U.S. Highway 27, west on Heller Brothers Boulevard, and then south onto FDC Grove Road. Drivers traveling west of the closure will be detoured along FDC Grove Road.
Residents are encouraged to plan alternative routes while the closure remains in effect.
Officials note that all dates and times are subject to change due to conditions in the field.
