Palm Harbor, FL — On April 13, 2025, at approximately 4:25 p.m., Pinellas County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of a missing 3-year-old boy, Kyrie Larry, at 3843 Lancaster Court. Kyrie, who was autistic and non-verbal, had left his home unnoticed by his parents, Marcus Larry and Jasmine Torrence, who are hearing impaired. They believed he was playing with his older brother.

Deputies, along with the Sheriff’s Office Flight Unit, K9 Unit, bloodhounds, and Marine Unit, launched a search. A Ring doorbell camera showed Kyrie near a pond three buildings from his home. The PCSO Dive Team searched the pond and found Kyrie deceased.

Chief Deputy Danzig expressed grief, stating, “Anytime a child loses their life under circumstances like this, it’s a terrible night for everybody.”
The incident remains under investigation. For more details, view the press conference: https://youtu.be/AgUfyIKwa70.
