Traffic Alert: Westbound I-4 Ramp to Southbound I-75 to Close Nightly, FDOT

Tampa, FL — The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) has announced temporary nightly closures of the westbound Interstate 4 (I-4) ramp to southbound Interstate 75 (I-75).

The closures will take place from 10 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. on the following nights, weather permitting:

  • Monday, February 23 through Thursday, February 26
  • Sunday, March 1

These closures are part of ongoing concrete pavement repairs on I-75 from Broadway Avenue to SR 582 (Fowler Avenue) in Hillsborough County.

Detour Route
Motorists must detour by continuing west on I-4, taking Exit 7, staying right at the fork to merge onto southbound US 301, re-entering the interstate via the eastbound I-4 entrance ramp, and proceeding to Exit 9 for southbound I-75.

Electronic message boards and signage will be in place to guide drivers through the area. Motorists are advised to use caution in the work zone and stay alert for construction workers.
