LAKELAND, FL – Fitzgerald Road in Lakeland closed at 7 a.m. today for roadway utility lift station replacement work.
A portion of Fitzgerald Road will remain closed to through traffic between South Florida Avenue and Scott Lake Road until roadway utility lift station replacement work is completed. The roadway is expected to reopen at 5 p.m. on Saturday, April 4.
Residents are asked to plan alternative routes as needed.
Traffic is being detoured on Scott Lake Road, Lake Miriam Drive and then South Florida Avenue.
