DAVENPORT, FL — A section of Minute Maid Ramp Road Two in Davenport is set to close starting Monday, March 9, 2026, as part of ongoing roadway improvement work.
According to a press release from Polk County Government issued on March 8, 2026, the closure will begin at 7 a.m. on March 9. The affected portion of the road will be closed from U.S. Highway 27 to Lady Diana Drive.
The closure is required for roadway widening and reconstruction, and it is being carried out as part of a project by Tucker Paving, Inc.
The road is expected to reopen at 4 p.m. on Friday, April 17, 2026, upon completion of the work.
Detour Information
- Traffic traveling on U.S. Highway 27 east of the closure will be re-routed north on U.S. Highway 27, west on Heller Brothers Boulevard, and then south onto FDC Grove Road.
- Traffic traveling west of the closure will be re-routed onto FDC Grove Road.
Residents and motorists are advised to plan alternative routes in advance to avoid delays.
