PLANT CITY, FL — The eastbound Interstate 4 entrance ramp from Thonotosassa Road will be closed from 9 p.m. Sunday, April 12, through 5 a.m. Monday, April 13, weather permitting.
During the closure, motorists needing to access the interstate will be detoured south on Thonotosassa Road, then left onto Reynolds Street (State Road 574), left onto Alexander Street (State Road 39), and then onto the eastbound I-4 entrance ramp.
Drivers are advised to use caution when traveling through the work zone and remain alert for construction workers.
The temporary closure is part of the ongoing I-4 interchange improvements at Thonotosassa Road (Exit 19) in Hillsborough County.
