KISSIMMEE, FL — Three people were shot during a suspected domestic-related incident Saturday evening in Kissimmee, leaving one man dead and two others hospitalized.
According to the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a reported shooting at approximately 5:19 p.m. Monday (June 16) in the 2800 block of Sheffield Circle. When deputies arrived, they found three individuals suffering from gunshot wounds.
A 38-year-old woman and her 18-year-old son were transported to a local hospital. The woman remains in critical condition, while her son is listed in serious condition. Both underwent surgery following the shooting.

Investigators said the suspected shooter, identified as 33-year-old Garshard Shaquille Alexander Strong of Kissimmee, was found deceased at the scene from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Detectives are still working to confirm the exact relationship between Strong and the female victim, but investigators believe the shooting stemmed from a domestic-related incident.
The investigation remains active as detectives continue working to determine what led up to the shooting. Nothing further at this time.
