Washington, D.C. – May 19, 2025 – The Supreme Court ruled 8-1 to lift a lower-court order, allowing the Trump administration to end the legal status of over 500,000 migrants from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua, and Venezuela under the Biden-era CHNV parole program.

Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson was the sole dissenter in the decision, which aligns with Trump’s recent immigration crackdown efforts. The ruling marks a significant shift in U.S. immigration policy. Nothing further at this time.
