Bartow, FL – At 11:00 AM today, Polk County Fire Rescue was dispatched to a 25 acre brush fire at 2250 Bonnie Mine Road in Bartow.
Firefighters arrived on the scene at 11:07 AM and had water on the fire by 11:14 AM. Crews brought the blaze under control by 12:21 PM and are currently conducting back-burning operations to prevent further spread.
Our photographer, Christopher Jr., was on the scene and captured striking images of the firefighting efforts. According to PCFR, no structures are in danger, and no injuries have been reported.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation. Nothing further at this time.
