ST. PETERSBURG, FL – Detectives from the Crimes Against Children Unit (CAC) have arrested a St. Petersburg man for possession of child pornography.
The investigation began after detectives received information that child pornography was being accessed and shared via the internet. Through various investigative techniques, detectives identified the suspect as 21-year-old Andrew Joseph Pogorzala.
According to detectives, the images depicted children between the ages of 4 and 10 years old.
On August 6, 2025, Pogorzala was arrested and charged with six counts of Possession of Child Pornography and one count of Transmission of Child Pornography. Pogorzala was transported to the Pinellas County Jail.
The investigation remains ongoing.
