WINTER HAVEN, FL – February 24, 2026 – The City of Winter Haven’s Natural Resources Division is inviting residents and visitors to explore the Chain of Lakes through its ongoing series of Kayak Ecotours.
The guided ecotours involve approximately three hours of paddling on selected lakes. Participants learn about lake health, wildlife, plant life, and the general lake ecosystem.
Spots are limited to up to 12 people using the city’s fleet, which includes 4 single kayak seats and 6 double-kayak seats. Individuals with their own kayaks are welcome to join.
Tickets become available 1-2 weeks prior to each event date.

- Wednesday, October 21 – Sunset Tour on Lake Shipp
- Saturday, November 7 – Lake Conine
- Saturday, December 5 – Lake Hamilton
Participants can choose ticket options based on whether they need a city-provided kayak or will bring their own.
