The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) has announced upcoming lane closures and flagging operations as part of the US 98 widening project from W Socrum Loop Road to CR 54.
Starting Sunday, April 6, nighttime closures will affect US 98 between W Socrum Loop Road and Rock Ridge Road from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. through Thursday, April 10. Additional nighttime closures are set for Sunday, April 6, and Monday, April 7, along US 98 between Earnest Road and SR 471, as well as SR 471 from US 98 to 1,000 feet north, during the same hours.
Daytime operations will also occur from Monday, April 7, through Friday, April 11, with periodic lane closures in half-mile sections along US 98 between W Socrum Loop Road and CR 54 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Drivers are urged to plan ahead, use caution, and be mindful of the safety of workers who work to help improve our roads.
