Holiday, FL. — On September 13, 2025, at approximately 2:10 AM, a fatal collision occurred on US-19 north of Tahitian Gardens Circle. A Kia Sorento, driven by a 41-year-old man from Holiday, was traveling southbound in the center lane. A Honda Odyssey, driven by a 24-year-old woman from Crystal River, was traveling southbound in the inside lane.
The Kia Sorento moved into the inside lane and collided with the Honda Odyssey. Following the impact, the Kia Sorento came to rest in a ditch along the highway shoulder, while the Honda Odyssey was brought to a controlled stop.
The driver of the Kia Sorento was transported to a local hospital, where he later died from injuries sustained in the crash. The driver of the Honda Odyssey was uninjured.
The incident is under investigation by local authorities.
