The Bartow City Commission reviewed plans for an Independence Day Celebration during their meeting on Monday, June 23, 2025. The event, presented by Parks, Recreation & Cultural Arts Director Jason Hargrove and Intern Noelia Velasquez, was officially recognized with a proclamation.
The City of Bartow will host the Independence Day Celebration on Friday, July 4, 2025, at Mosaic Park from 2:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Attendees may bring blankets, lawn chairs, snacks, and non-alcoholic beverages. Food trucks will be available for food purchases.

The event includes an Opening Ceremony at 2:30 p.m. with Mayor Tanya Tucker and other local dignitaries. Bartow Idol winner Natalie Suarez will perform the Star-Spangled Banner.
Activities include live music, children’s games, a moon bounce, inflatable games, a rock wall, face painting, a balloon artist, and a roving magician. The headlining act, Eli Mosley, sponsored by Thunder Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, will perform before the Fireworks Extravaganza at 9:10 p.m.
