71-Year-Old Bicyclist Killed in Titusville US-1 Crash

Titusville, FL. — Florida Highway Patrol troopers are investigating a fatal crash that occurred at approximately 8:17 P.M. on US-1 north of Kings Highway in Titusville, Brevard County.

The collision involved a 2016 Honda Accord and an electric bicycle. The driver of the Honda Accord, a 36-year-old male from Titusville, was not injured and remained at the scene. The rider of the electric bicycle, a 71-year-old male from Titusville, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The southbound lanes of US-1 are currently closed due to a roadblock. The sequence of events leading to the crash is still under investigation.
