St. Petersburg, FL – On June 30, 2025, at approximately 2:10 PM, a crash occurred involving a Toyota sedan driven by an 87-year-old woman from St. Petersburg. The vehicle was traveling eastbound in the parking lot of Oak Ridge Wesleyan Church at 11000 110th Avenue North. The driver intended to stop but accelerated, crossing the roadway and crashing into a residence at 10985 110th Avenue North.
The driver sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital. One resident in the home was uninjured. A dog inside the residence was injured and transported to a veterinarian for treatment.
