LAKE WALES, FL — Four people were shot late Saturday night in Lake Wales, with all four suffering non-life-threatening injuries. At least one victim was airlifted to a hospital for treatment, according to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office.
The shooting occurred in the area of Alturas-Babson Park Cutoff Road in an area commonly known as the Mud Hole. According to PCSO, Sunday morning that the victims are three females and one male.
No information regarding a possible suspect has been released. The Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate. Nothing further.
