DAVENPORT, FL — July 15, 2026 — Families across Central Florida are invited to kick off the new school year at the annual Central Florida Welcome Center Back to School Bash on Saturday, Aug. 1, from 9 a.m. to noon.
Hosted by Visit Central Florida, the free community event will feature kid-friendly games, local vendors distributing school supplies, and free backpacks for the first 500 students in attendance.
Organizers say the Back to School Bash has become one of the largest back-to-school events in the region, helping families prepare for the upcoming school year while offering a fun morning of activities for children.
The event will be held at the Central Florida Welcome Center, located at 101 Adventure Court in Davenport, and is open to the public at no cost.
