WINTER HAVEN, FL – The City of Winter Haven is accepting applications for multiple full-time and part-time job openings across several departments, including public safety, engineering, parks and recreation, airport operations, finance, and sanitation.
Current full-time openings include Police Records Clerk Supervisor, Staff Assistant for Engineering, Recreation Leader, Driver Collector, Accountant, and Crew Leader positions for Parks and Grounds and Cemetery Operations. Pay ranges from $16.80 per hour to more than $81,000 annually depending on the position and qualifications.
Part-time and seasonal positions are also available, including lifeguards, airport staff assistants, airport operations technicians, recreation leaders, and summer recreation attendants.
City officials said some positions require little to no prior experience and offer on-the-job training opportunities.
The City of Winter Haven also highlighted employee benefits for qualifying positions, including annual pay adjustments, paid holidays, vacation and sick leave, health and dental insurance, life insurance, retirement and pension plans, and education assistance programs.
