PLANT CITY, FL – Plant City detectives are continuing to piece together the events surrounding a tragic and disturbing case that left four people dead, including a 4-month-old infant and a 4-year-old child, during an incident on May 3, 2026.
Police are continuing to conduct interviews, review forensic evidence, and analyze all aspects of the investigation involving four deaths across two locations in the city. The victims included a 4-month-old, a 4-year-old, a 28-year-old woman, and a 55-year-old woman.
According to the department, no final determination regarding the circumstances surrounding the deaths has been made at this time. Detectives said that based on information developed so far, investigators do not believe there is an ongoing threat to the community.
The department is also asking the public to avoid speculation while detectives continue following evidence and completing a thorough review of the facts.
