Mulberry Announces Spring Curbside Cleanup Event

MULBERRY, FL – The City of Mulberry is hosting its annual spring curbside cleanup on Saturday, April 4, 2026, in partnership with Republic Services.

Residents are encouraged to round up junk from their garages, backyards, or attics and place it at the curb for collection. Acceptable items include general junk, mattresses/box springs, unusable furniture such as desks, couches, chairs, tables, and lamps, tires (limit of 4 per household, without rims), and appliances (white goods).

Items must be placed at the curb before 6:00 a.m. on April 4, 2026. Materials should not be placed at the curb two days before the scheduled cleanup day.

The following items are not accepted:

  • Construction debris (fence materials, remodel materials)
  • Hazardous waste (paint, batteries, chemicals, solvents, asbestos items, motor oil, antifreeze)
  • Food waste

Residents are reminded not to attempt to help the cleanup crew load materials. The city also encourages taking recyclable or reusable items to local community charity organizations whenever possible.
