PLANT CITY, FL – March 15, 2026 – A 29-year-old male pedestrian from Plant City was struck and killed by a vehicle on US-92 at approximately 1:00 AM on March 15, 2026.
According to the incident report, a Toyota Tacoma driven by a 26-year-old woman from Plant City was traveling westbound on US-92. The pedestrian entered the roadway east of Charlie Taylor Road and was struck by the vehicle. The pedestrian sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver of the Toyota Tacoma was not reported injured. The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the crash. No charges or citations have been announced. Nothing further at this time.
