The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a homicide in Brandon.
On March 9, 2026, at 5:43 p.m., our 911 Dispatch Center received a disturbance call on the 1800 block of Lake Chapman Drive. When deputies arrived, they found a deceased adult male with an apparent gunshot wound at the residence.
The shooting occurred following an altercation at the residence. All individuals involved have been accounted for, and no arrests have been made at this time.
This remains an active investigation, and the Public Affairs Office will provide any updates as they become available.
