KISSIMMEE, FL — On January 21, 2026, deputies from the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a physical altercation at the Kissimmee Youth Academy, located at 2330 New Beginnings Road in Kissimmee. The incident involved a 15-year-old juvenile housed at the facility and a security guard.
The juvenile sustained a head wound during the altercation and was transported to a hospital, where he received stitches for the injury.
Following the response, detectives conducted interviews with numerous witnesses and the parties involved. On January 26, 2026, Charles-Edouard Jeune (born October 29, 1993) arrived at the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office and was arrested without incident.
Jeune faces three felony charges: Child Abuse, Aggravated Child Abuse, and Battery on a Prisoner with Great Bodily Harm.
The Kissimmee Youth Academy operates as a medium-security program under the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice.
