Tampa, FL – On Tuesday, October 7, 2025, the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office Gun Intelligence Working Group arrested two juvenile brothers, Jose Torres, 17, and Kevin Torres, 15, following a multi-week investigation into firearm-related offenses. Detectives executed a search warrant at a residence on Bethlehem Road, where they seized the following items:
- Palmetto State PA-15 AR pistol, chambered in .223
- Unidentified AR pistol with no serial number or branding
- Palmetto State Armory Dagger 9mm handgun
- Glock 27 handgun
- 64 rounds of assorted ammunition
- 338 grams of vegetative cannabis
- $753.00 in cash
Charges:
- Minor in Possession of a Firearm (2 counts each)
- Armed Possession of Controlled Substance with Intent to Sell or Deliver (each)
The arrests and seizures mark the conclusion of the HCSO’s investigation, with the case now proceeding through the juvenile justice system.
