Spring Hill, FL. — A 60-year-old male pedestrian from Columbus, Indiana, was fatally struck by a vehicle on Cortez Boulevard, west of Weeping Willow Street. The vehicle, a BMW M3, was driven by a 27-year-old woman from Spring Hill and was traveling eastbound at the time of the incident.
According to authorities, the pedestrian was crossing the highway when he walked into the path of the oncoming vehicle, resulting in a collision. The pedestrian was transported to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to injuries sustained in the crash.
