Winter Haven Police Vehicle Involved in Crash This Morning
Winter Haven, FL — A Winter Haven Police Department officer was involved in a vehicle accident this morning at the intersection of First Street North and South Lake Silver Drive.
The officer was transporting a bicycle, secured to the front of her patrol car, to the police department for safekeeping when another driver turned in front of her vehicle, causing a collision.
According to WHPD, the crash resulted in minor injuries. Authorities have confirmed that the bicycle being transported was not a factor in the accident. Nothing further at this time.
