PLANT CITY, FL — The westbound ramp from Interstate 4 (Exit 22) to Park Road will close nightly for paving on Monday, March 30, and Tuesday, March 31, from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m., weather permitting.
During the closures, westbound I-4 motorists seeking access to Park Road will be detoured to Exit 21. Drivers will be directed to turn left onto Alexander Street, then right onto Sam Allen Road, and continue east toward Park Road.
Electronic message boards and posted signage will guide drivers through the area during the overnight work.
Officials are reminding motorists to reduce speed, remain alert, and use caution while traveling through the construction zone.
The temporary closures are part of ongoing improvements to the Park Road (Exit 22) interchange along I-4 in Hillsborough County.
