Lake Wales, FL – A major vehicle accident occurred this afternoon at approximately 2:21 PM at the intersection of Burns Avenue and Tower Boulevard.
According to the Lake Wales Daily, two patients are being airlifted from the scene and are listed as trauma alerts. Burns Avenue is closed in both directions at Tower Boulevard, and drivers are advised to find an alternate route.
