SpaceX to Launch Four Astronauts Tonight for NASA’s Crew-10 Mission, Visible from Polk County
Cape Canaveral, FL – NASA’s SpaceX Crew-10 mission is scheduled to launch tonight, March 12, 2025, at 7:48 p.m. from Launch Complex 39A at Kennedy Space Center in Florida, with the liftoff expected to be visible from Polk County. A SpaceX Dragon spacecraft will carry four astronauts—NASA’s Anne McClain (commander) and Nichole Ayers (pilot), JAXA’s Takuya Onishi, and Roscosmos’ Kirill Peskov—to the International Space Station for a four-month science expedition.
This launch marks the 10th crew rotation and 11th human spaceflight mission to the station using Dragon since 2020 under NASA’s Commercial Crew Program. Following the launch, Crew-9 astronauts Nick Hague, Suni Williams, Butch Wilmore, and Aleksandr Gorbunov will prepare for their return, splashing down off Florida’s coast.
