Pinellas Park Police Arrest Man in Overnight Stabbing Incident

PINELLAS PARK, FL— The Pinellas Park Police Department arrested a St. Petersburg man following a stabbing late Thursday night that left another man in critical condition.

On February 12, 2026, at approximately 11:30 p.m., officers responded to a reported stabbing in the area of 7550 40th Street N.

The investigation determined that two adult males—Joseph Lee Green, 51, of St. Petersburg (born January 23, 1975), and Jesse Robert Tucker, 31, of St. Petersburg—became involved in a verbal altercation that escalated into a physical confrontation. During the incident, Green stabbed Tucker multiple times.

Tucker sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital, where he remains in critical condition.

Green was detained at the scene, and officers recovered a folding knife in his possession.

Green has been charged with Attempted Second Degree Murder.

The investigation is ongoing, according to the Pinellas Park Police Department press release.
