Rockledge, FL – At approximately 10:36 A.M this morning, a fatal crash occurred at the intersection of Suntree Boulevard and Turner Road in Rockledge, Brevard County, involving a train and a bicyclist, whose identity is pending confirmation.
Preliminary investigation indicates that the train was traveling southbound on the tracks when the bicyclist entered its direct path. The front of the train struck the bicyclist, who was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Troopers are on-site, and the crash remains under investigation. Further details will be released as they become available.
